7 t-shirts + our VOTE changes everything.

On August 11, 2020, news media reported President Joe Biden had selected his running mate and later revealed Senator Kamala Harris was Biden’s choice for Vice President.

Sharing the experience of voting our first Black Vice President Kamala Devi Harris into office with Jaiya Devi was EVERYTHING. We soon learned Kamala and Jaiya share the middle name, DEVI which is Sanskrit for “Goddess”.

When Jaiya wanted to contribute to Vice President Harris’ 2020 campaign we created (7) Right Mind Athletics t-shirt designs that captured our excitement and the Spirit of the moment.

KA-MA-LA”. Designed to “guide” folks pretending to struggle with the correct pronunciation of “Kamala” (Sanskrit meaning Lotus).

Eat No for Breakfast” and “Got Ambition?“. Inspired by Kamala’s words of encouragement to Black girls worldwide via the 2020 BLACK GIRLS LEAD Online Conference hosted by Black Girls Rock!

I’m Speaking” and “I’m Speaking Too“. Senator Harris made it clear who had the floor in her first VP debate against Mike Pence in October 2020 and recently reminded the Other Guy, that nothing has changed. Kamala still owns the floor and has the world’s attention.

(7) t-shirts that meant something to my then 13-year-old RMA entrepreneur and 2024 nominated “Girl Leading Change”.

Even before I lost my job in August, we’d decided to revive our RETRO #MadameVicePresident tee’s to again, support Kamala’s campaign. We sold 70 shirts in 2020. Our 2024 goal was 100 shirts, with profits being donated to several Black Women and Girl-powered groups working HARD to get “Madame President” elected.

Today, facing housing and Jaiya’s eligibility crises, these (7) t-shirts can keep us housed and Jaiya on course for a great school year and T&F 2025 season, as she prepares for Graduation and her college start at the University of Houston.

Being these are 2020 RETRO #MadameVicePresident shirts, the only update we made was a pivot from Alpha Kappa Alpha (Kamala’s Sorority) Pink to “Kamala IS Brat” Green!

The timestamp of when and how Jaiya Devi’s connection to Kamala Devi sparked matters to us.

Neither our (Jaiya, Luckie) fight for Equity nor Vice President Harris’ fight to be elected is anywhere near over.

RACE HATE afforded the freedom to breathe and thrive has gotten us to where we are.

A $24.99 t-shirt sale today and a VOTE on November 5, can literally change everything for all of us.
