Months before life changes occurred, Jaiya and I planned a trip to the University of Houston for her campus visit. After my job loss in August 2024, community support became vital. Despite hardships, kindness from strangers helped secure her future at UH and, ultimately, her journey toward the LA2028 Olympics. Thank you all.

LinkedIn’s workforce diversity statistics highlight severe underrepresentation, particularly among leadership roles for these demographics. Accountability and transformative change are urgently needed for equity.
